Abstract
⺠In the red-eared slider, gonad sex is determined by incubation temperature. ⺠Exogenous ligands override the temperature during development, modifying gonad sex. ⺠Exogenous ligands reversed temperature-typical expression of FoxL2 and Dmrt1. ⺠In the model, FoxL2 and Dmrt1 may be critical factors in sex determining pathway.
