Abstract
⺠The pathways of GPCR-mediated eCB release and their mechanisms are reviewed. ⺠Activation of Gq/11 and Gs proteins can stimulate the endocannabinoid system. ⺠CB1 receptor inhibition blocks the hypertensive effect of angiotensin II in the PVN. ⺠2-AG formation is a general consequence of Gq/11-coupled receptor activation.
