Abstract
⺠We ask what elements affect subcellular traffic of methoprene-tolerant protein (MET). ⺠We identify mosaic of both nuclear localization signals and nuclear export signals. ⺠Subcellular localization of MET depends on combined contribution of various signals. ⺠The activity of PAS-B nuclear localization signal is controlled by juvenile hormone.
