Abstract
⺠Dio2 transcription in rat pinealocytes is highly sensitive to inhibitors of aurora kinase. ⺠Dio2 transcription is sensitive to nM concentration of trichostatin A. ⺠ChIP with antibodies against acetylated Lys14 of H3 shows an increase in DNA recovery of the promoter region of Dio2. ⺠Histone modifications have minimal effect on the transcription of Fra2. ⺠Histone modifications appear to play an important role in rhythmic gene expression.
