We propose a method for fusing the multi-voltage digital radiography (DR) images sequence of the complicated industry product into a high quality image. Initially, a quality measure called well-exposedness to variable-voltage X-ray image is proposed. Guided by the simple quality measure, the weight maps of the source images can be got. To address the seam problem, it is done in a multi-resolution fashion to account for the gray values variation in the sequence. We directly produce a well-exposed image for display purpose without extending the dynamic range of the image compared with other methods. Experimental results show that the fused result by our proposed method contains more details than other two variable-voltage DR images fusion methods.
