Abstract
This paper discusses in detail the effect of magnetic field on the filtering behaviour of potassium D2 line Faraday anomalous dispersion optical filter (FADOF) when the working temperature and the length of the cell are fixed. The transmission spectra were measured in different magnetic fields and line-centre operation transmission spectrum was obtained under the predicted optimal working condition.
