Abstract
A 6-months English Setter bitch is presented for inspiratory dyspnea access of rising severity. An obstructive tracheal lesion is identified at the thorax inlet by X-ray. Fibroscopy allows visualisation of a parietal mass occupying the half of the tracheal lumen. A resection anastomosis of the trachea is realized to remove the obstacle. No complications were encountered over a 5 five-year follow-up. Anatomopathologic diagnosis was in favour of an osteochondroma. This rare case is an opportunity to take stock on tracheal tumors including osteochondromas, and to evoke the tracheal resection anastomosis which is not so frequently indicated.
