Improved timely birth dose coverage of hepatitis B vaccine narrows the socio-economic inequality in western China in 2011-2016

The socioeconomic inequality in TBD coverage decreased over the study period, but such inequality still existed in 2016. To improve inequality in TBD, the government should pay more attention to the disadvantaged groups, especially the children who were delivered at home, or whose caregivers were ethnic minority or who have a lower level of education.
