Abstract
⺠Vaccination with HSV gD, gB and ICP27 provided protection from HSV-2 challenge. ⺠Vaccination with VP13/14 or VP22 did not provide protection. ⺠Combining ICP27 with gD or gB provided a greater level of protection than any single antigen. ⺠Adding ICP27 to enhance T cell responses can improve the efficacy of gB- or gD-based HSV vaccines.
