Abstract

âº Phase 3 trial of PCV7 and PCV13 with routine vaccines in Brazilian infants. âº PCV7 and PCV13 had comparable immunogenicity for the PCV7 serotypes. âº PCV13 had higher immunogenicity for the 6 additional serotypes in PCV13. âº The two pneumococcal conjugate vaccines had comparable safety profiles. âº No interference with concomitant whole-cell pertussis vaccine.
