Abstract
An organic–inorganic hybrid photopolymer doped with sodium-citrate-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles was fabricated. The experimental results showed that the maximum diffraction efficiency could be increased from 69 to 90%, and the maximum refractive index modulation improved from 1.386 × 10−3 to 2.083 × 10−3. It also found that the volume shrinkage during holographic exposure was noticeably suppressed without affecting the optical quality of the photopolymer.
