Abstract
⺠Trichuris suis soluble products (SP) modulate human dendritic cell (DC) function. ⺠Trichuris suis SP suppress LPS and TNF-α-induced secretion of pro-inflammatory mediators. ⺠The T. suis SP induced suppression of cytokines and chemokines is glycan-dependent. ⺠Glycans of T. suis SP contribute to the increase of OX40L expression on DCs. ⺠Human DCs bind T. suis glycans via the C-type lectin receptors, DC-SIGN and MR.
