Abstract
⺠Interpretation of serological findings for Toxoplasma gondii in cattle is difficult. ⺠Detection of parasitic DNA is limited to seronegative cattle. ⺠Seroprevalence is not an indicator of the number of cattle carrying parasites. ⺠Infectivity of beef from PCR-positive cattle is yet to be studied.
