Abstract
⺠European populations of Fascioloides magna have multiple origins. ⺠Fascioloides magna from Italy is genetically distinct from all other European populations. ⺠Italian F. magna is of western North American origin. ⺠Czech and Danube populations are genetically identical. ⺠Fascioloides magna was introduced to the Czech focus from south-eastern regions of the USA.
