Abstract
Double novel neodymium complex liquid laser medium are prepared based on neodymium oxide and 1,10-phenanthroline. The spectrum parameters of absorption cross section, emission cross section, oscillator strength, and so on, are calculated using Judd–Ofelt theory, while absorption spectrum and luminescence spectrum are measured; the luminescence lifetime of 1060 nm (4F3/2 → 4I11/2) is measured, it has obvious superiority compared with similar samples; at the same time, the relation between Nd3+ concentration and luminescence strength is deduced, the results show: the luminescence strength increase firstly and then decrease with Nd3+ concentration because of cross relaxation.
