Abstract
The polarization fluctuations of quantum Gaussian pulse light through the slant path turbulent atmosphere are studied based on the model of quantum field in the paraxial channel and the quantum degree of polarization in this paper. The analytic equation for quantum degree of polarization of linearly polarization light is obtained. The results show that the polarization fluctuations of the Gaussian pulse beams increase with the increase of the pulse duration T0, the ground turbulence-strength of channel or the decrease of the photon number in pulse time duration.
