Abstract
In this paper, the ultrasonic modulation of light in a weakly optically scattering media is studied. The ultrasonic modulation of the zero-order diffraction light is obtained. The ultrasound pressure causes the ultrasound-modulated zero-order diffraction light intensity to fluctuate in the weakly optically scattering media. Furthermore, the ultrasound pressure can induce the ultrasound-modulated zero-order diffraction light intensity to decrease to zero.
