Abstract
It is shown that the imaging visibility of a two-beam intensity correlated field may be utilized to determine the strength of scattering potential of quasi-homogeneous (QH) media by solutions of the inverse scattering problem provided that both the ratio D/R and the polarization of incident plane waves are known. Analytical descriptions of the methods for the scalar and electromagnetic cases are deduced, respectively.
