Abstract
DBZIM produces anti-Parkinsonian and neuroprotective effect in a 2'-CH3-MPTP mouse model by inhibiting MAO-B. Remarkably, the post-lesion treated DBZIM provided greater anti-Parkinsonian and neuroprotective effect than l-deprenyl. With also the previously demonstration of DBZIM neuroprotection in a 6-OHDA PD model, DBZIM should be a promising neuroprotectant of Parkinsonian treatment.234
