Abstract
Gut inflammation exacerbates liver injury and fibrosis in HFD mice, which may contribute to the development of NASH. Beyond the damaged intestinal epithelial barrier, GVB disruption with bacterial translocation into may play a key role in the pathogenesis of NASH.
