Abstract

The heat-collection effect of heat-collection plate is determined on the respond time of nozzle. Based on the formula of respond time of nozzle and Alpert model of ceiling jet, this page analyzes that the influences to respond time are temperature and speed of ceiling jet and its regularities of distribution is related to the height of roof and the location of origin of fire. Then we analyze the heat-collecting on the condition which the relative location of origin of fire and heat-collection plate is different. Illustrating by the example of the places which danger classes is II dangerous level, we calculate the position probability of origin of fire in fire. The results show that when the origin of fire is under the heat-collection plate, the heat-collecting effect is ideal but this probability is low about only 2.4%. So, the effectiveness of heat-collection plate is low and it is hard to have an effect.
