Definition of Thermal Actions on the Building in Accordance with the Standard EN 1991-1-5

Thermal actions on structures is complex phenomenon that is dependent from numerous parameters and therefore in the codes for structural design thermal actions are defined by using simple method, temperature profile is dividing on uniform temperature component and temperature difference component. General principles and codes for design buildings on thermal actions according with Eurocode EN 1991-1-5 will be presented in this paper. Also, this paper represents a way of defining the thermal actions on buildings and nationally determined parameters which are adopted in the draft version of Montenegrin National Annex of EN 1991-1-5.
