Abstract
After the intervention, there was an improvement in the quality of PFM contraction (P = .016), as well as in strength (manometry, P = .036; dynamometry, P â¤Â .011), in knowledge, and in quality of life (PFDI-20, P â¤Â .021). These results were maintained after 3 months, indicating that a physiotherapy program including active exercises of PFM integrating electrostimulation and ultrasound biofeedback, seems to be useful in the improvement of motor learning and PFM function.
