Abstract
The high prevalence of supplementation among breastfeeding late preterm infants underscores the potential effect of type of milk supplementation on LOS and breastfeeding outcomes. Our findings suggest that human milk supplementation discourages transition to formula feeding before hospital discharge without increasing LOS.
