Abstract
Occupational physicians, warrantors of worker's health at work, also have to cope with organizational constraints on a regular basis, which are linked to the type of health service in which they work but are also linked to the specificities of their missions. To our knowledge, to date, no study has examined these working conditions of French occupational physicians, how they affect the physician according to the health service in which they work and their impact on burnout. The objective of this study, which is based on a content analysis of an open-ended question, is to (1) report on and identify the particularly difficult situations faced by occupational physicians in France ; and (2) study their apparition according to the type of health service (service autonome vs. service inter-entreprise vs. other) and burnout.
