Abstract
It appears that professional risk prevention (information, monitoring, protective equipment), especially regarding pregnancy, could be improved. Measures to protect pregnant women at work (adaptation of the workplace, temporary redeployment to another position, suspension of the employment contract with guarantee of full pay) seem to be rarely implemented in the branch of cosmetology. Furthermore, the knowledge of professional exposure risks for reproduction in those activities is still inadequate. Novel studies seem to be necessary in order to supplement the present data.
