Abstract
Each individual has a perceptual style of his own. This results in a particular weighting of different sensory information in order to perceive and interact with the environment. An increased dependence on visual information is described in some subjects. Of diverse origins, it would have repercussions as well on the perceptual plane as postural. This visiodependence could, however, be modulated according to the postural context, the sensory-motor expertise of the subject, his sports practice or his age. Could a link be established between a visual dependence and the presence of a binocular imbalance? Is modulation of this visiodependence possible as a result of orthoptic rehabilitation?
