Abstract
For orthoptists, the problem of the treatment of amblyopia has always been an important subject because of the number of patients to be treated and difficult because of the great diversity of types of amblyopia. Even today we need to think about the best strategy to adopt. Admittedly, if an occlusion time is unavoidable, it appears that the active orthoptic rehabilitation must begin as soon as the pathology is discovered and the surveillance will continue several years after the recovery of visual acuity.
