Abstract
Keratoconus affects today one person in two thousand in France. It is the most frequent ectasia of cornea. Keratoconus causes deformation and thinning of the cornea which means a decrease of visual acuity. This occurs in young subject, student or in age of work, a strong socio-economic impact. Thanks to recent research, this disease is now well known and new treatments can be offered to patients.
