To increase and improve the supply of care, ophtalmological consultations have evolved and have been reorganized: Orthoptists were hired and became the natural and essential partner to the ophthalmological consultation. Orthoptists have indeed supported the establishment of many complementary eye examinations and pre-consultations. For a year, two protocols of delegation of tasks have also been set up, providing more responsibilities to the orthoptists.
