Abstract
Elevated levels of serum homocysteine are correlated with ischemic strokes due to intracranial large artery stenosis in young and middle-aged patients. This association may have an implication in stroke prophylaxis for intracranial atherosclerosis by using homocysteine-lowering therapies.
