Abstract
Present paper correlates residual growth obtained experimentally at the bore and rim of a disc with residual growth estimated using finite element method. A detailed experimental procedure, starting from the extraction of test specimen to rotating the disc in spin test rig facility has been described. Statistical methods have been used to obtain ±3a variation in stress-strain curve which can predict minimum and maximum residual growth using finite element analysis.
