Abstract
Invasive lobular carcinoma accounts for approximately 10% of all breast cancer cases. Patients with ILC are more likely to present more advanced tumor stages. However, its prognosis is quite similar to the invasive ductal carcinoma one. There is a markedly high incidence of peritoneal metastases. Endocrine therapy is the medical treatment of reference.
