In recent years, the worldwide catastrophe happened frequently. As a special type of building for the long-term shelter, a large scale temporary housing will be built up after disaster. Because the temporary housing will last 3 years, it is very important to insure the safety operation of the temporary housing. Among all of the factors, site safety and the fire risk are the core contents of the temporary housing's safety performance. So in this paper, the temporary housing's intension and extension descriptions were given from the time and space angles respectively; then two models were built on the basis of analyzing temporary housing's site safety and fire risk. In the phase of model verification, the calculation process was analyzed and the objectivity and accuracy of the assessment model was verified. At last, it proposed suggestions for the construction of temporary housing after the disaster.
