Abstract
Transfontanelle ultrasound is a feasible tool for assessing the pattern of shunt flow and cerebral perfusion before and after the modified Blalock-Taussig shunt procedure. The transfontanelle ultrasound examinations may have potential role in assessing “over-shunting,” but it needs more studies.
