Abstract
Slip-step Fourier Transform (SSFT) and Finite Difference (FD) algorithms are introduced to solve Parabolic Equation (PE). SSFT is applied to analyze the problem of radio propagation in vacuum. Based on Split-step Padé approximation, a high order FD algorithm is introduced to compute the Radar Cross Section (RCS). According to the results, the differences of the two kinds of PE method have been discussed.
