Abstract
In the long run, Water transfer project will cause natural environmental changes in structure and function, and inevitably cause cumulative impacts on water environment. The features of cumulative impact on the water environment from water transfer have been comprehensively exposited in this paper, and by building numerical model, system simulates the process of cumulative impacts on the water quality. Results show that the eastern water transfer project may cause cumulative impact on water environment, the affected region mainly locates in the north intake area, and the type III water is the critical threshold for the occurrence of the cumulative impacts.
