Flow Structure Investigation in the Lateral Inlet Branches of Hydraulic Machines and Some Recommendations on Their Designing

The article deals with the research results of flow in lateral inlet branch of centrifugal pumps. The flow structure analysis in semi-volute inlet branches of centrifugal pumps is shown. On the basis of analysis some recommendations on inlet branches designing including combined inlet branches of centrifugal pumps are shown.
