Abstract
To study the inhibitory effect of Baicalin on Human Herpes Virus Type 6, the human T-cell strain of HSB2 was used to test the anti-HHV6 effect in vitro. The result suggests that Baicalin has evident effect on cytopathic effect (CPE) caused by HHV-6 GS. This result prompts that Baicalin has prophylaxis and therapeutical effect on infection caused by HHV-6.
