Abstract
- Pain on swallowing after oral surgery with inflamed peridental tissue was reduced by 2Â mg local morphine.
- Sedation scores were significantly higher in the peripheral morphine group only 1Â h after surgery.
- Patients receiving 2Â mg morphine into non-inflamed tissue did not show any reduction in pain scores.
