Abstract
Inhalation of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as butane can induce neurological and cardiac symptoms. Rhabdomyolysis and acute renal failure are rarely reported. We presented a case of a patient who developed an acute rhabdomyolysis and renal failure caused by accidental prolonged inhalation of butane. Gradually, the patient recovered a correct renal function.
