Metropolises spatial expansion management with special reference to systems related to environmental values. Tehran metropolis as the case study

Expansion of metropolises is considered as a critical problem in recent decades. Negative thoughts in the approaches of metropolises management, has resulted in nothing but various damages to the natural environment. Lack of sufficient knowledge about the several aspects of metropolises, as well as deficiency in using the supportive systems are the main issues in the managing of metropolitan areas. This study would analyze the nature of spatial expansion of metropolises by using a supportive system in decisionmaking, called “Environmental suitability analysis Approach”. Tehran metropolis and specially its south bound is the operational area of this case-study.
