Abstract
The sensitivity of peripheral chemoreflex to CO2 was preserved in healthy men with obesity. The higher sensitivity of peripheral chemoreflex to CO2 and higher WHR were associated with a decrease in the duration of voluntary apnea in subjects with obesity.
