Abstract
In PAD patients, there is a gradual reduction in the tibial velocities comparable to the decrease of ABI and API. These findings should be validated in a multicentre prospective study, in order to establish the API as a tool for the interpretation of PAD, and providing additional information for patients with non-compressible ABI.
