Abstract
Postoperative stroke often leads to high mortality and poor long-term outcomes. Patients who experienced a severe stroke and underwent neurosurgical procedures also exhibited poor outcomes. Patients and their families should be informed of relatively high mortality and poor long-term outcomes before neurosurgical operation.
