Abstract
Among patients with asymptomatic carotid stenosis, stenting has a significantly higher rate of any peri-procedural stroke and peri-procedural minor stroke than CEA, and similar risk of peri-procedural major stroke, peri-procedural ipsilateral stroke, or MI.
