Abstract
Our preliminary findings suggest that the SMART coil has a favorable initial risk to benefit profile for the embolization of appropriately selected aneurysms. Additional studies of larger cohorts are necessary to determine the mid-term and long-term clinical and angiographic outcomes of aneurysm patients treated with the SMART coil.
