Abstract
The present results not only support the notion of somatosensory processing in the subthalamic nucleus. Moreover, an improvement of somatosensory processing during subthalamic deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease might be accounted for by enhancement of prevailing high frequency oscillations.
