Abstract
- Chordoid gliomas typically occur in individuals aged 30-60â¯years of age.
- 19 deaths reported so far, mostly due to septicaemia and pulmonary emboli.
- Gross total resection should be strived for to reduce the risk of recurrence.
- The trans-lamina terminalis approach is associated with best patient outcomes.
- Adjuvant radiotherapy does not appear to reduce the rate of recurrence.
