This study reveals functional and clinic-demographic characteristics of a group of individuals who suffered a SCI and were attended at the Kinesiology Service of a referral center. The functional impact of pressure sores highlights the importance of expanding the research in relation to the factors which predispose the development of this kind of injury, as well as to establish prevention strategies.
